Rules for the use of the registration service for the legalisation of documents in the electronic system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as the Self-Service Website) (hereinafter referred to as the Rules)
The Rules shall determine the procedure and conditions for registration on the Self-Service website and use of the Self-Service account.
2. Using your self-service account
2.1. The Customer shall create a Self-Service Account by following the user registration instructions on the Self-Service Website.
2.2. The creation of a Self-Service Account requires the Customer's email address, to which a link to confirm registration is sent during registration, and a secure password for logging in, which the Customer must create during registration.
2.3. In the self-service account, there is an option to subscribe to notifications about newly created or vacant times for a visit to a consular office. Subscription to on-demand notifications is valid for 90 days. You can unsubscribe of notifications at any time.
3. Client's rights and obligations
3.1. The Customer undertakes to protect his/her login data to the Self-Service Website and not to disclose them to third parties. The Customer shall be responsible for the use and storage of his/her login data and shall be liable for all actions performed using his/her Self-Service account.
3.2. The Customer undertakes to take appropriate measures (e.g. immediately change the password) in the event of any suspicion that the Customer's login data may have been accessed or used by third parties.
3.3. In the event of a change in the Customer's email address or other details, the Customer undertakes to update them immediately in the personal profile settings on the Self-Service Website.
3.4. The Customer shall have the right to cancel the Self-Service account created at any time. The account may be deleted if there are no active bookings or pending procedures. The data contained in the account shall be kept for up to 30 days from the date of cancellation of the personal account.
4. Rights and obligations of the administrator of the Self-Service website
4.1. The Website Administrator shall grant the Customer the right to use the Website, but shall not guarantee the uninterrupted operation of the Website, for example, in the event of technical problems, in the course of resolving them, during the course of updating the Website or due to any other circumstances that are beyond the control of the Website Administrator.
4.2. The Self-Service Administrator shall have the right to unilaterally amend these Rules at any time by publishing a new version of the Rules on the https://keliauk.urm.lt website and on the Travel Safely mobile application and by informing the Customer thereof by e-mail.
4.3. The Website Administrator shall have the right to restrict access to the Account at any time without prior notice if the Customer violates these Rules or has not used the Self-Service Account for more than five years.
5. Other provisions
5.1. The controller of the Customer's personal data is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania. Information on the processing of personal data is published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania at the following address: Personal Data Protection | Activities | Ministry | Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
5.2. If the Customer does not use his Self-Service Account for one year or longer, in order to ensure the security of the Customer's personal data, the Account is deleted without prior notice.
