“We are expanding economic relations with our strategic partners and looking for various new alternatives for Lithuanian companies, which are currently facing economic pressure from non-market economies. This agreement provides additional instruments for our companies engaged in economic activities with our partners in the U.S. It will help Lithuanian businesses to solve namely the issues related to the lack of working capital through bank guarantees or to develop various joint projects through direct loans,” said Landsbergis.

The agreement that is worth up to 600 million dollars opens up the possibility for companies of both countries to benefit from the bank’s medium- and long-term guarantees or direct loans. It will also facilitate access to Lithuania for American high value-added goods, new technologies and services.
